Fall Stuff to do in ABQ area?

Are there corn mazes and pumpkin patches and haunted houses in the area?

Re: Fall Stuff to do in ABQ area?

  • The big one is Balloon Fiesta. and State Fair (in Sept) and Fiestas de Santa Fe (Labor Day weekend).

My favorite corn maize id the Los Poblanos Open Space/Rio Grande Community Farm maize Maze.  Info at http://www.riograndefarm.org/programs-events/maize-maze/ .  I was actually thinking we could do this a Nestie GTG real soon to welcome you!

McCall's Pumpkin Patch out in Edgewood has a corn maze, the pumpkin patch, and a haunted farm.  They're about an hour east on I-40 in Moriarty - http://mccallpumpkinpatch.com/ .

The biggets fall activty is Dia de los Muertos. South Broadway Cultural Center and the Hispanic Cultural Center always have tons of activties.  And the South Valley has a huge Magnoalia parade - http://muertosymarigolds.org/. And usually they have something over at the ABQ Open Space Visitor Center on Coors in the Bosque.

You also have Dixon's Apple farm up past Cochiti - http://www.dixonapples.com/

Plus, a lot of communitity's have their studio tours.  I know Galisteo, Dixon (the town up NM68 on the way to Taos), and Moreno Valley/Enchanted Circle have October/November studio tours.
