Stars and Strollers

Has anyone been to one of these types of movies presented by Cineplex Theaters?  I'm just wondering how noisy it gets with all of the babies in there?  Also is the movie admission any cheaper since they are usually shown during the day?

TIA

Re: Stars and Strollers

  • I went once. There were about 20 people in the theatre, and the kid noise wasn't bad at all. I believe it was $2.00 off regular admission.

    Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker
  • I have been to one with a friend;
    Minimal noise of the odd baby fussing.
    I believe it was matinee price.. no difference!
  • I go every now and again with SIL. We love it - minimal noise/interruption, and it was 8 bucks.
  • I've been to Movies for Mommies, which is the same idea but run by a different company/organisation/whatever. Loved it!! Once I sat in the back row, and found it very difficult to hear the movie because that's the designated 'pacing area' for fussy babies. I much preferred the front row, so I could bring in the stroller (I found it easier, and Jakob would often sleep in the stroller after I nursed him), and it was far quieter there. There was a special price, too.
