websites to compare products

I am looking at buying a new vacuum and I was looking for the a site that compares products.  Anyone have one?  I thought it was consumer reports but they charge.

Re: websites to compare products

  • the only thing I can think of is to look at websites that sell both vacuums, and see the customer ratings and read the reviews.  I think that's what we did when we bought our elliptical machine.  Does amazon sell the vacuums?  don't they have customer ratings and/or reviews?  HTH.  I'll ask DH if no one else knows what we've done before.
  • I rely pretty heavily on Amazon.com for reviews and I compare products that way. I've found it to be pretty accurate.

    This.

    Yes

I have run across other sites that compile reviews, but for most of them, they seem to lift 90% of their reviews from Amazon anyway!

  • Hello! Just popping in. I would try CNET.com. They have lots of reviews on numerous products, and let you compare side-by-side as well.
