the dress i ordered from ann taylor ended up working out perfectly (i ordered last week but didn't want to put all my eggs in one basket in case it didn't fit or i just didn't like it)
anyway, it is one of the ann taylor bridesmaid dresses - strapless, silk taffeta with a sash. unfortunately, they fall under "online exclusive" but i got 25% off just by googling for a promo code. i wanted something i could wear to other weddings next year or another event.?
i also went to filene's basement, lord & taylor, macy's, etc... and i did notice that filene's basement had a lot of the same dresses as the other stores and, of course, a lot cheaper. ?
this will be our 4th wedding this year and wore the same dress to the previous two so i needed something new. good luck with your search!
