As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

"most active posters"?
I'm sure this has been asked before, but what's the deal with that? Every day JARbaby tops the charts with 116 posts. That can't be a daily thing, right? How often does that thing reset? Is it like, one time JARbaby made 116 posts in a single day and now she's the "most active poster" until someone posts 117 or more in a single day?
Inquiring minds want to know.

I clicked over to the HI bump board today and saw a bunch of random posters there... weird! One was a "platinum poster", damn, I didn't know it went to platinum status
I'm guessing they just post non-sense to up their points? Regardless, you've asked a good question.

Maybe it's one of those things like having a high score on a video game; it doesn't mean anything to people who aren't into it, but can mean the world to people who are. Oh wait...I guess that's not a good analogy because you actually have to have some skill to earn a video game score.
So that means...um...well....nope. Can't think of a good reason. I tried.
Yeah, the high posters thing is just broken and pretty much never resets. I think I've seen it change all of once since I started posting over here!
As to the posts/points...I don't really get the big deal. It's amusing when it changes to something new, but hardly something I'm going to dwell on, you know? Those people that get really high scores in such short amounts of time must do nothing all day!
wow I never realized there was Platinum status LOL I think I have gold status?? but really not sure what the big deal is...
I still visit a lot of boards but don't post nearly as much as I used to (trying to keep up with posts on my blog so people will continue to visit it and not get bored w/the lack of content!)... hardly visit the knot anymore
but I do frequent several boards on the nest/bump...
