I really don't care much about my wedding dress at this point in my life. If I ever do anything with it I'd have it made into a baptismal gown-If we ever have a baby, that is! The dress is designer, pretty plain, and silk BUT I only paid $300 for the dress on ebay. I called Springdale cleaners and they really do only charge about $40 for a wedding dress (!!!). I didn't mention that it's silk but I worked in a drycleaners in college and we didn't do anything special or different for silk clothing vs synthetic.
Would you chance it at Springdale Cleaners?
