Hi ladies :jumping up and down: out of excitement!!

ALOHAAAAAA Ladies!!!!

I havent been on in ages, but I have a chance now (DH is wrestling with Kai). How is everyone?  What's new? Tell me all about these new babies on the board, or pg's, or new homes or anything....lol (make it juicy ;)

We are all good in our household. Surviving the times like the rest of America.  I am still a SAHM to my little firecracker, and boy or boy is he a busy boy (more busy now than when I worked).  We are actually TTC #2. Call me crazy, but these ole' ovaries aren't getting any younger (and besides I may chicken out later down the road if we dont now- lol).  Kai still doesnt sleep through the night, so it has really taken a toll on me.  Its so hard to find the right balance and still have time to myself.  Heck, I forget I have a vagina half the time (Lisa, there's some TMI for ya)- Poor DH.

Were planning a trip in Dec (thinking maybe Puerto Rico) and possibly going with DH to D.C. in Jan.

 Soooo ladies, spill it!!

Oh and forgive me for being so arrogant, I assumed most of the nesties on here know me (just realized after I types all of that). So if we havent 'met,' I am Amy, married in Maui in 2006 and Queen of TMI.

DS- 4 years old, Natural m/c @ 7 weeks-12/1/09. Infertility issues- low ovarian reserve- low AMH and high FSH. Looking into adoption. Trying to figure out where to go with your little one? My favorite website is: Trekaroo AlternaTickers - Cool, free Web tickers

  • hey stranger! I was thinking about you the other day...glad you decided to check in. sorry your LO still isn't STTN but hopefully it will come soon... good luck with TTC#2.

we moved from our tiny apartment into a townhome in June, DH started his pediatrics internship in June as well, and now we are expecting a baby girl in about 1 month... still no name but we can't wait to meet her!

  • Aloha, TMI, we've missed you... and you've missed a lot of TMI... and potty talk (courtesy of our honorable moderator).  You'll have to come by more often and overshare.

Shouldn't you have to create a POLL to come back after an absence?  Yes, the rule is all newbies and those who've gone astray must begin with a poll (or random spattering of whacky questions).

  • Hey Amy!!

I'm a mommy now too:-)  Ashton Christopher was born Aug 14 weighing in 8.5 lbs and 21 inches. He is now (at 7 weeks) 14.2lbs!!  He is such a ham.

Glad to hear that all is well with you.  Good luck and have fun attemping baby #2:-)

  • AMYYYYY!!!!

Well....*sucks in deep breath*...we got a new dog, I got knocked up, miscarried (possibly the worst thing I've ever been through), are buying a house, got knocked up again, and are expecting identical twins in May. Smile So it's been rather eventful lol.

Also, I second the poll notion. I think that should be a new rule.

  • Welcome back Amy! We missed you and your TMI polls :-). I don't have a bebe yet but will TTC soon ;-). Goodluck on bebe #2. Hope to see you here more!
  • TMI AMY!!!  Oh, how we've missed you!  Big Smile  I still recall a hillarious thread you started over on TK...I distinctly recall a discussion on the WW points of various biological fluids.  Embarrassed  I actually started WW 4 months ago and have lost 14 pounds so far.  I just stopped BCP on September 19 and, although we're TTA for now, I'm eagerly awaiting some signs of ovulation!  I sure hope my body figures out what the heck it's supposed to do now that it's flying solo.

I'm hoping we see more of you around here and GL with TTC #2!

  • Hi Amy!  I totally know who you are because (1) your Knot bio was one of the first I came across when we were thinking about getting hitched in Maui and your bio was totally inspirational; and (2) occasionally you would post on the Knot while I was planning even though you were busy with your brand new baby firecracker and I would always take note because your posts were so damn funny.

So hi!  I'm Melissa and I got married in Maui in June 2008.  You should post here more!

And yes, you definitely definitely need to make a poll since you've been MIA for a while.

  • Yay Amy!

Here's a link to the PG list for the board:

    http://community.thenest.com/cs/ks/forums/thread/23485961.aspx

We also have some new mommies...Lori (Lori&Vance), Sarah (Mrs.Ziz), Renee (Mrs.Winter), and a few more that are escaping my brain at the moment (chalk it up to pregnancy!)...Jaime (HawaiianHoney) just had a baby boy so her two daughters are big sisters now.

I didn't know you were a SAHM. WOW!  How's that transition from being a career gal?  I honestly don't think I could do it.  It's a lot of work.  God bless Joseph for being willing and able to be the primary care giver during the day.  He's waitering at a fancy-schmancy steak house a few nights/week and goes to RN school fulltime too.  We moved from San Jose to Tulsa in June 2008 and I am an executive at an international non-profit for women. Neither of us are opera-clowns anymore and it suits us just fine. My mom moved out here in January, so it's great to have her around too, especially with our litttle one on the way!

Puerto Rico sounds awesome!  Are you still diving?  D.C. in January sounds cold, but fun!  I was just there in June but in the throws of the first tri so I basically slept when I wasn't required to be working.

I can hardly believe that I am almost in the third tri...time starts to escalate, I think.  LOL about your va-jay-jay....I was complaining to J that I am not sleeping well through the night and he grabs my ass and says, "I'll just have to tire you out." with a wink in his eye and all I could say was, "um...yeah...I have no problem getting sleepy, I am exhausted.  I am just not sleeping well."  Total romance killer.   Oh well, I think he understands.  At least I hope he does.

Good luck with TTC#2 and I agree...a poll is in order!

  • aloha back-so glad to hear that you are doing well and that you decided to stop by the board.  It seems like just yesterday that Kai was born.  and now you are trying for number 2 - wow!  As you will notice there is definitely something in the hawaii water for there are a load of new moms and moms to be-i may be the last of the dinks.  lets get some more tmi polls going
