Would this be for everyday use? Or, more like a tote to carry things to/from work?
What colors do you generally wear? (more earth tones, or more black/grey/white)?

I'm really not a fan of either of them...
If you def want one of these two, I'd say look at what you wear more - black or brown and choose from there, since they are both similar.
Everyday but I would use it to carry things to work. I take a bottle of water and a snack with me to work everyday.
I usually wear khaki pants everyday to work. The tops vary, I have all colors.
I'm open to suggestions. I tend to pick the same things all the time. My gift card is to Macy's. If you would like to look there for other ones. Price under $150.

Of the two that you posted, I would pick the brown one since you said you wear a lot of khaki. Though, I agree, those aren't my favorite styles. It's good to branch out and try something that you might not normally go for. You'll probably find yourself with a new favorite!
I like the ones that Philly posted too. Based on the size/style of the two that you chose, and the reasons you were looking for a new bag, I'd vote for #2 of the Philly picks. The size and shape should fit your needs, it's very stylish, and I think the color will go with a lot of what you wear.
Of these two, I like the first one more. The first one comes in black, pewter and red. The second one only comes in black.
What color for the first one?
I think a color other than black or brown would be your best bet. A wilder neutral (like the colors that Philly posted) go with a lot more than you think. You can pair a red purse with black, brown, denim, yellow, green, blue, purple, gray..... the options are endless!
If you like the first one, I vote you try a color you're not used to wearing and prepare yourself to fall in love!
