Here's what I ended up buying for the fundraiser dance I have next month. I love it on, and it's not to old looking. I love how the collar flips up.
and this for a black tie I have this weekend. I got it in the lapis color.

I did go to the store and try it on. I ended up just buying the one off the rack cause I liked the color.
