I know about annovulatory cycles and whatnot, but what I'm not sure about: do you still get EWCM if you're experiencing annovulatory cycles? Or do you only get that if you're O-ing? Maybe this was a really dumb question, but it popped into my head today and I figured I'd ask here before calling the GYN. TIA!
Re: ttc question
It's totally possible to have EWCM without ovulating, and that you don't have it doesn't mean you're not ovulating. It's generally the most fertile CM you'll get, but doesn't guarantee you're ovulating or nearly ovulating.
Do you already have a copy of TCOYF? If not, I can't recommend it highly enough, it's simply fabulous.

I did have a copy of it, but it got misplaced in the move (maybe thrown out on accident?), so I just ordered a new copy! I'll read up on that again... it's been 2 years since I read it.
Thanks!
Have you been charting? That is what will show whether or not you have annovulatory cycles.
I do not get EWCM. I do not ovulate at all. I have once or twice in the past 2 years.
The girls are right about TCOYF and charting. I also used the ovulation sticks. I bought a pack of the cheap ones at CVS. When the line got darker, I knew I had ovulated.
Good luck!
