On a scale of one to ten...
... how bad is it that I spent 110$ in Sephora today and now have 29.33$ left to spend on food/groceries until next Thursday?
My name is Alyson, and I have a Sephora addiction.
Re: On a scale of one to ten...
If that what you did last week and the week before, then I'd have to give you at least a 8 but if this is a once a year type of thing then 2
Haha, I like Anna's suggestion. And if you get sick of ramen, you can mix things up with Easy Mac =P or whip something up with any canned foods you may have in your pantry or stuff in the freezer--these are the things I learn from MH
Spending grocery money on non-groceries = 7
Getting out of Sephora for only $110 = AMAZING!
Average = 3
Ooo what did you get from Sephora?
Maybe you can just eat PB&J's till next Thursday
I got Nars Orgasm blush (amazing on me today!), Juice eye contouring cream, stila concealer and a sephora eye pencil. LOVE that place.

having an actual budget so you know how much $ you have left to buy groceries and not just spending willy-nilly = 10 (with 10 being best, right?)
how much money you have left over for groceries.... = 3.
Hey, eggs are cheap and a very good source of protein and overall nutrition. Have some omelettes or frittatas. Better yet, I saw this recipe where a sunny side up egg is put on top of spagetti (another cheap food, right?), and I think there was some frisee or arugula too, and s+p ... it looked so good! The yolk is sort of the sauce for the pasta. Very french and ooh-la-la. Idk about the cost of frisee and arugula, though!
wow, alyson, do you know anyone else who can just go on and on like me? sorry about that.
I bet you have cans of soup or something you can scrape together in your cupboards....
Plus you'll look fantastic while you're cooking mac & cheese
