Would you believe 2 people have commented about my pregnant sisters weight!!!!!!
My aunt told my sister while at my bridal shower that she will never be sexy again after having this baby and that she couldn't believe all the weight she put on......and my mom's aunt (who's 80) called my mom today to see how everything was going and the proceeded to tell my mom that her daughter (who was at another family shower) asked her if my sister had put on weight before the pregnancy b/c she new she was tiny the last time she saw her and couldn't believe she was so big and that she looked like she was having twins. (my sister does know this of course), but my mom was pissed
Who the heck do these people think they are.....I mean yeah she has put on a lot so far but for gods sake she is pregnant!!!!!! Who the heck tells a pregnant girl that!! I feel so bad for her b/c she's being so hard on herself and peoples comments aren't making it easier.
Just needed to vent about people's stupidity

For some reason people think they can say whatever they want to you when you are pregnant. They tell you that you are fat, they tell you what to eat and what not to eat, they tell you horror stories about their pregnancy and labor (often TMI) and all of this is usually from complete strangers, or people you hardly know.
I once had a women that works at my hospital say to me, "Wow! Your legs are HUGE!! I mean, they were big before you got pregnant but now they are HUGE!"

People used to ask me if I was having twins all of the time. Yes, I gained a lot of weight. But really...were they trying to make me cry??
Now I get excited when people tell me they can't believe I just recently had a baby. I think I still have some weight to lose but hey, I'll take the compliment.
I wish she could of said something cocky but I think she was so shocked.....I feel so bad for her b/c she's already got a low self esteem and this is knocking her down. She hates leaving the house b/c of how she looks in everything and she hates being pregnant.
My mom's aunt acutally started by saying "Didn't Lindsay use to be skinny?, I heard she was really big" Seriously!!!!!!!! She's got a living being inside of her you dumb ass!!!
Tell your sister there is nothing more beautiful in the world than the glow of a pregnant woman.
Unfortunately, people do seem to say whatever it is that is on their mind when you're pregnant. Try being a self-concious big girl to start with...if one more person made a comment like "Whoa I think there might be triplets in there!" while I was pregnant with my younger daughter, I thought I might kill them.
