...crimping my hair at my desk! It's 80's Day at my office (Customer Service Week shenanigans) and I had my hair in a super-high ponytail. One of my co-w friends had a crimper and brought it over to me.
I was halfway through crimping my ponytail when my boss came out of his all-day meeting and caught me red-handed. Whoops!
The things we do for fashion!
Re: I got caught...

Okay, okay, I give! Here's a restroom self-portrait:
You can't see the full effect of the crimping because my ponytail is behind my head. But yes, those are purple & orange jelly bracelets. I also have bright orange heels.
This doesn't even touch my co-worker's outfit, which is mostly made up of her Punky Brewster costume from Halloween last year.
He just gave me a look as he walked past, like "Seriously?" I think I got off easy!
For Customer Service Week, our theme is American Idol, so each day is a different Idol "week":
Birth Year (birth of the company, wear a company shirt)
70's
British Invasion (all-black in honor of Simon)
80's
Country
I'm on the CS Week committee, so I'm expected to sell every day/activity hardcore. This included singing a LOT of Karaoke in the lunch room today, because people refused to sing and only wanted to watch me and a few other girls make total a$$es of ourselves. "Love Is A Battlefield", anyone?
HAHAHAHAHA I love it!
