We knew Dh's reunion was coming up and we had heard nothing and no one esle knew anything. We have been really looking forward to it as all the previous graduation classes have it at the Mission Inn in Riverside. They go all out and they typically have a lot of people go. Well dh just found out it's not going to be there but it's going to be some murder mystery down in Santa Ana.
What a bummer! We decided we aren't going to go.
Re: Dh's HS reunion
That is a really biazrre idea for a HS reunion if you ask me. Not exactly a "catching up" environment. Where did he go to HS?
A has absolutely no interest in his. I think I'll be peer pressured into mine.

my read shelf:
wow mission inn, that would of been nice. Sorry you guys don't get to go.
We didn't even have a reunion. But the years before we're at some hotel by the mills. I went with DH to his and it was so sad, people were getting drunk in the parking lot, there was a fight over a girl, the cops had to be call, it was like high school all over again.
That was my thought as well, how do you catch up. He went to Poly. I guess another reason that I am a little bummed is because we probably won't be going back to mine. I probably won't have the vacation time or money for the flight.
We had ours at a bar in Boston except the room they had reserved for us was so awkwardly shaped and the servers were terrible at coming around to ask for drink orders that everyone eventually made it to the bar area and it got confusing bc you didnt know if the people hanging out at the bar were people from the HS or random bar patrons.
Murder mystery dinner definitely doesnt sound like a good opportunity to catch up with people.
Ditto. After leaving SBHS, I never looked back. no desire to go back now.
LOL, I was just going to ask if you were going to go. I was excited at first then I realized I don't want to catch up with anyone that I don't already speak to from then. From the looks of it on the social networks a lot of the people are exactly the way they were back in the Berdoo days.

That's what I was thinking too. I can't imagine our ghetto school giving such a great reunion anyways. There's a few people from ROTC I'd like to catch up with, but not badly enough to go.
CRAFTY ME
my read shelf:
Ha!! Probably!
I think a murder mystery would be fun just to go. Screw the reunion part of it.
It's not the school that puts on reunions, it's the class. It's typically your class pres and vp. I really doubt mine would do one. I think I would go if they had one but I doubt they will.
^ That very well could be it.
Not very relavant but my brothers 10 year reunion was at Mission Inn too. Seems to be a pretty popular place for that.
Poly was our rival, heehee! Did he graduate in '00? Such a small world.
Yep, the Mission Inn is the place to be. we have a shortage of nice hotel in Riverside. My SIL's reunion (same HS as me) was at the Marriot and I guess it's pretty nice too.
