DH B-day gift? ipod?

So I am at a loss for what to get my DH for his birthday this month.  What do you think about the ipod?  We are about to have a DD and was thinking that one that takes video would be good.  I don't know much about them. Any other good ideas?

    I think an Ipod's a good idea. Or if you guys don't have a digital camera, maybe one of those. My DH is hard to buy for, I usually end up getting him some random tool for his car or the house!

     Some of the Ipod's are really nice because you can download videos, and tv shows as well as music. I think it would be a good gift. Good luck!

    FWIW my DH LOVES his Ipod touch... he tells me all the time it was the best gift I have ever gotten him LOL

    My DH loves the ipod he got me.  (Yes, *my* Christmas present that has all of his collection on it and 2 of my cds.)  I know my BF was disappointed at her birthday before her last baby that everything was about becoming a mom, and she didn't get anything personal for her.  Hope you find something!

    An iPod is a great idea.  Does he work out?  If so, the Nano is a good choice.  The new Nano is awesome.  It takes video and has an FM tuner.  The iPod touch is a good choice if he won't be running or working out with it.

    Thanks for the info!  We do have a digital camera that I love right now.  He also loves to work out. He has a very cheap MP3 player now and it drives him crazy trying to download anything.  Looks like the nano might be the way to go.

    I bought my DH an ipod for his birthday 4 years ago, when the Nano first came out.  He LOVED it.  He wore the thing out from playing it so much!  He's on his 3rd ipod now, so I highly recommend one as a gift for ANY guy.   :)

    R's work bought one of those flip video cameras to use for their morning show stuff and he just thinks its the poo.  If yours is a techie, he might like it ... the video ipod might be another good choice.
