Fetal Hiccups ?

I heard & read about them but obviously didn?t know what to expect. Well I?m in bed this morning at around 5am and I first thought it was a kick but it was different?. I felt it every 4 seconds apart and unlike kicking it didn?t change positions/locations. I counted 15 of them in a row!   It was weird but so cute ? I?m picturing this little cutie/patutie with the hiccups?LOL   Smile

Re: Fetal Hiccups ?

  • DD was the hiccup queen. You might find a pattern of when she gets them. For me, it was always at lunch time, the drive home from work, and about an hour after dinner.

And when she arrived, she continued to be the hiccup queen. All. The. Time.

  • I got fetal hiccups all the time as well. Now that DD is born, she gets hiccups quite a bit. I was worried in the beginning, but the nurse at the hospital asked me if she hiccuped while I was pregnant, and I said all the time, so it's normal that she hiccups after she eats.

  • B hiccuped every night at 5PM when he was in me. As an outside baby he also hiccups at 5PM.
  • Same with me. I felt hiccups every night at around 10:30-11 and he still gets them around that time...
