As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Well one person seems to remember them asking for photos, names and addresses to be used. So apparently these were given to them and not from the profiles?
Mine says I live in New York. The nest moved me there and won't let me move myself anywhere else. So I'm not worried.

From what I read it seems it was mostly those who submitted or gave permission for a photo to be used...I dunno

I'm just hoping if we didn't submit a photo or approve a photo of being used - that we're in the "safe" zone...KWIM?
Perhaps but also being discussed is that by having a bio you automatically give them permission to use your photos in that bio.
I was also thinking for the future too and if they would possibly do this again. Say when they publish the answers to the questions that they always ask us here on the board.
