This is my elevation chart for my 20 mile run this weekend:
Here
This is the elevation chart for NYC (which is in 20 days!), here.
Sorry, PIP won't work.
ETA: My long runs have been at about 5900 - 6200 feet...NYC is at 0-250 feet.
I better kick some ass.
Damn you Nest for screwing up my siggy!

Re: My AW post of the day
WOW. You should AW. That's amazing!!
Why do they make the course so the last couple miles are all hilly as compared to the rest of the course?! LOL You'd think you'd want to give people a break if they made it to mile 20+!
ETA: You are truly a rockstar. I knew it before, but DAMN, Val... I ache just LOOKING at that 20 miler!
I agree with Paula. Hills first, then a nice flat break.

Thanks! I told Mike yesterday that I was thinking about Chicago for next year...all I got was a big sigh and "Does every vacation need to involve a race?" I'm taking that as a hint that I should prob stay local next year...maybe 2011 unless I can convince him to run it too.

You are AMAZING Val! I can't believe those hills you have to run while at home!
I think you should come to Chicago next year! It's going to be on 10-10-10
I even had a quick thought that maybe I could try training and do it next year. But then I laughed and realized there is no way I could do it!
