Have you started Christmas shopping?
How many people do you have to buy for? When do you normally start?
Re: Have you started Christmas shopping?
I haven't started yet and it drives me nuts because I'm usually DONE by now!
Not counting DH or I, we have about 10 people to buy for. Usually more but this year we're swapping names in my family.
No. But I usually write down a bunch of ideas and then my SIL and I go shopping in Dec and I get everything done in one day. I'd like to start earlier this year though.
And we buy for 11 people (I think).
I started a couple weeks ago...it's progressing slowly.
Edit: I have NO idea how many ppl we're buying for! Eep...

When do you normally start?I'm waiting till we close on the house, since I currently have no place to store anything.
Good point. I didn't even count us.
We used to buy for a lot more people but we stopped buying for friends (we cook for them instead), MH's family started pulling names and we cut back significantly this year b/c of P. So it'll be manageable.
I have not even had time to think about it yet. We always have so many people to buy for, we both have lots of siblings and nieces and nephews. I don't want to think about it.
We won't start buying anything until after we close on the house at the end of the month. We have to keep a lot of money in our accounts so that when the underwriters check, we will have a good amount. So big spending until after the closing. Which, I am thankful for because I don't have time to worry about it yet.
