Possibly my first time...
in requesting some J9 vibes/vibez/luck/dust (in the ironic sense of course, dandy).
I've been semi laid off since late May as most of you know. I still work 10 hours a week. We were hoping business would pick up at the end of summer because our business runs on an academic year. That hasn't really happened when I thought, so I've started looking elsewhere (to no avail).
But we're getting more work, and I'm hoping it means I'll be called back full-time again before my unemployment runs out. Any positive thoughts are appreciated! The first four months of my laycation were nice, especially with all the wedding hoopla, but now it's kind of depressing.

CTbride - I know! I never know what to believe because like you said, it's been reported that we're going to be on the upswing, but I have to keep in mind it took about 8 months for the recession to hit my company.
