Besides the fall beers and any wine, does anyone know of a good alcoholic fall drink? Over the summer DH and I were hooked on gin and tonic, anything simple that involve a lot of mixes would be wonderful. Happy Friday ladies!
Re: FALL DRINK
I usually like the spiced, cider type wines for fall/winter. The other thing I would think of is Pumpkin Martinis...like this one.
Last year for Thanksgiving I made a fall sangria that was so good. Here is the recipe (hopefully I remembered everything)
1 bottle red wine
apple cider (it may have been 2-3 cups but you can change it depending on how strong you want it)
two apples, two oranges cut into wedges
2 cinnamon sticks (I didn't have any so I just put a sprinkling of it in)
mix everything in a pitcher and refridgerate overnight
I love the warm beverages for fall, especially mulled wines. There was a post about this on the decorating board recently:

That sounds good. I love drinks like warm Gluhwein.
