My uncle adopted a 7 month old puppy from the shelter this week. Yesterday he was walking the pup, she got spooked by something and busted thru her harness and took off. Poor puppy doesn't know her name nor does she come to treats, food and is skiddish of people.
I spent hours walking the streets of Arlington with my dog looking for her and spreading the word. If anyone is in the area, can you keep your eyes out for her? She's about 18 lbs, brownish-black body with a dark face.
We've contacted the animal shelter, animal control, the police & my uncle should be emailing the Arlington email listserve.
If anyone has any advice or ideas, I'd love to hear them! Thanks ![]()
Re: Missing dog in Arlington
I hope you find her!
I actually park in Arlington right near Alewife. Can you tell me more about the location she was lost at and about her? What breed is she? Is she entirely brownish-black? Any specific markings? Is she wearing a collar? I'll keep an eye out when I'm walking to and your Alewife.
Thanks! She was lost around Park Circle. She may still have her collar.
This is the only picture of her that he has... I think she's a mutt, not sure what combination of breeds she may be. I hadn't had the chance to meet her in person yet! It looks like she might have some brindle markings.
No! I am really surprised that she wasn't chipped before leaving the facility. There was a sighting yesterday so hopefully she'll turn up soon!
