Going back to school

I'm kind of hyperventilating over the process of going back to school. Namely, all the paperwork and financial aid info. I updated my address and such for my FAFSA PIN but it wouldn't let me update my last name. Has anyone else dealt with this?

My control freak anxiety is kicking in hard core right now. I'm applying to a program completely different than what my bachelor's degree is in with a completely different school and I'm all OMGOMG right now. Embarrassed

Deeeep breath.

Re: Going back to school

    • I'm sure you'll do great! No more stressing! When do you start classes?

    • Potentially this spring if I can get a seat. I need anatomy which fills up really really fast. I feel like Ick! right now but that's probably a combo of nerves and caffeine jitters from my pumpkin spice latte.

    • Aww, I can imagine how nauseating it would be. But you never get rewards if you don't take a risk (or something -- I could be mixing up my platitudes.)

You just HAVE to rub it in that you had a PSL?  ::folding arms over chest:: Whatevs, KB!

    • I've got to start this process again and am not looking forward to it at all.  I won't qualify for financial aid though b/c I work fulltime and will be going to school parttime.  Plus I think we're over the income limit.

    • I graduated with my masters this spring in a program TOTALLY different than my undergrad. It was stressful, but so worth the payoff. Just make sure the school is a good fit for you. I found one that ended up paying me to get my masters, so no debt for me! Good luck!!!!
    • You'll do great KB!!!! Relax, it will all come together.
Warning No formatter is installed for the format bbhtml
    • I am so excited you decided to go back to school :) YAY KB!

    • That is very exciting! What are you going back to school for? Good luck, I am sure you will do great!

    • Just a hint of advice I would personally call FAFSA and talk to them... I had a deadline of right before the wedding to fill out all of my fafsa info and paper work, they told me I should fill it out in my maiden name (to have it in on time) and then call and actually talk to someone for the name change stuff, plus you have to change all of your financial info due to being married... it's horrible! haha Good luck with filling it out and going back to school!
