Did my glucose test today and...
They let me out for the hour!!! YIPPEE!! I had to sign out and confirm that I was responsible if I threw up (um, wouldn't I be responsible regardless of where I threw up?) and that I'd start the test over if it did happen.
They did say that I could only sign out if I had someone with me - so FYI for anyone else.
And I got to go SHOPPING in between! YIPPEE. I actually got to buy a few little items for the little guy. That totaly made my day.
Re: Did my glucose test today and...
Thats great!!! to bad the weather wasn't nicer but it's better then nothing! Shopping will make anyone feel better
- especially when it's for a baby!
Did you get any good deals?
I wasn't aware that there could be a circumstance whereby we weren't responsible for throwing up! lol That's funny.
Good on ya! I hope you enjoyed the spree!
Wow, I'm surprised they let you leave. The more you move after that test the more it lowers your sugar levels. So the test isn't really accurate if you walk around. You could technically fail the test but won't know it if your moving around drops your sugar low enough to pass. Strange....
I'm glad you got to shop though, you must have had so much fun.
I didn't know that, Angie. Thanks for mentioning it. I guess if I have borderline results I'll mention it to my Dr.
