Daytime getaway for this weekend?
For Sweetest day, I had plans to surprise my DH by taking him to a winery (Elk Creek) in Louisville, KY. I've been monitoring the weather, and it looks like it's going to rain.
Are there any other places/areas I can take him as a surprise? I don't mind driving a few hours to get there...
Re: Daytime getaway for this weekend?
Well this isn't that romantic but every year we go to the Mingus Pumpkin Festival, which is happening this weekend. Its a huge arts and crafts festival with great food and I've always enjoyed going. DH likes it too although its not his favorite place to go. haha Okay so maybe this would be more for you. haha Anyways its always a fun time had by all.
GL trying to find a BBB, I was doing some research a couple weeks back for an anniversary this weekend for the DH and I and everything was booked up. It was so bad we scraped the idea and decided to just stay local.
You could go to the Belterra or French Lick Springs and get a room , do the spa, and have a nice dinner. Plus both have a casino if you go for that (I don't but I'd still like to spend the night at either place!)
we have stayed here and really like it ....it is in Indy
