talked to Sarah today
she is well (as well as recovery can be) and Ben is perfect. she told me her birth story, and we just chatted for a few minutes about Ben and such.
She made a remark about how much time she used to have to herself before baby (to get online and stuff)... and now its hard to find any time. hehehe... welcome to parenthood!

Yes, I'm quite sure she expected to get pedicures and massages every day. Really?
I think everyone knows it's going to be a lot of work, but you never really know exactly how much work it's going to be until you're the parent of a newborn.
Sometimes when I see pregnant women and they smile at me, I think to myself "you don't know what you are in for"! Wouldn't trade it for anything though.

Mary/Rachel - your comments made me laugh, there were a few new momma's at the midwife office today and I was wondering what they were thinking of us in the waiting room with our big bellies. Know I know! (or at least have a good guess, lol)
