**Kellybeth**

First, how are you feeling from your accident? How's the car?

Secondly, inquiring minds want to know if you ever watched Saved by the Bell. Does someone (cough SBS cough) have you lend you her DVDs? :)

Re: **Kellybeth**

  • Car accident update: 1) I am feeling mostly fine. I can still tell there is a little tension in my neck so I'm debating on doing anything about it. The insurance company will cover any treatment for 12 months so I probably should go. 2) The car wasn't totaled. The damage came out to around $6800 and they're basically replacing the entire rear end on the car. According to my oh so witty father, I'll have "a new a$s car."

    As for the SBTB project, it's on hold. I've got a ton of other stuff going on right now considering I just applied to nursing school (which explains my recent freaking out post).

  • OOH, got get a free massage for your neck. Two birds, one stone. Holy crap, that's a hefty bill for damages -- that's what I paid for my last car total. Do you get it back soon?

    Sad that the project is on hold. Maybe you'll have to do a different TV project: House, Grey's, Private Practice, ER, Scrubs, and Mercy to prep you for your new career. In fact you probably won't have to attend classes anyway -- TV is educational!  I think I've already earned my TV MD degree by now. :)

  • The insurance company has approved my rental car through Nov. 3rd so my car should be fixed by then. Otherwise they'll have to extend the rental and I haaaaaaaaaaaaate the rental car. Bare bones Nissan Sentra that drives like crap and smells like someone chain smoked in it then doused the upholstery with Febreeze.

    I mean, House + Grey's + Private Practice + Mystery Diagnosis should cover things right? I'm actually really excited to jump back into school and am looking forward to my science classes. I already have all of my basic gen ed out of the way with my bachelor's so all I need are a few science classes then on to the clinical stuff.

  • Car dust ::sprinkle sprinkle::

    I've never seen Mystery Diagnosis, but I think if you included 15 seasons of ER you will totally ace nursing school! That sh*t's complex and jargon-y!

  • Mystery Diagnosis is on TLC and usually involves really rare conditions. People go to the doctor over and over again without a resolution until they're situation is (in some cases) life threatening. It completely fascinates me how these people can slip through the system for years until they finally find a doctor who helps them. One woman had purple urine off and on for YEARS until she was diagnosed with some super rare endocrine problem. Stuff like that, super weird and crazy - and I love it.

  • Sounds interesting! I'll have to DVR an ep. Is it like a real life "House"?

  • It's more of an interview type set up. They'll talk with the patient, the family, have some cheesy re-enactment stuff (not too much), show pictures of the patient over the years. IDK, I just like hearing the stories like purple urine lady who "just dealt with it" for years. BOGGLES my mind.

  • Seriously! If I'm peeing purple, I'm seeing a doctor.

    I hope the re-enactments are better than "I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant." Those are wretched and are always a much better looking depiction of the real people.
