Heartburn Galore

In the last 3 days straight, I?ve had the worst heartburn ever!

I now have tums in my purse, nightstand, living room & car! I?m not eating/drinking anything acid-y yet its still there?I?m guessing that since baby is bigger now there?s less room??

Well if the ?myths? are true this kid will have a full head of hair when she?s born! Bring out the clips & bows! lol

Re: Heartburn Galore

  • Ugh, sorry to year that!
  • Brutal...that sucks. I have heartburn daily...it's awful. And I'm not even pregnant! :)  I chug Pepto right from the bottle these days, it's gross. lol
  • The heartburn bites. It has something to do with your hormones relaxing your stomach and esophageal muscles.

Try to eat smaller meals and make sure your stomach is never empty.

  • You have my sympathies!!

If you aren't averse to meds, ask your caregiver (can't remember if you have a midwife or MD) for a prescription for Zantac. You can also get it OTC, but at least in my case I needed the highest dose possible. It stopped working altogether about 2 weeks ago, and now I've moved on to Losec.

My midwife gave me this tip too, unfortunately it's not doing much for me! Hopefully it works better for you Lisa!

  • boo for heartburn. :(

    Thankfully, I escaped heartburn.

But my kid had a TON of hair when she was born!
