Have you guys turned on the heat yet?
I'm still holding out, trying to see if we can make it to November before turning it on but with the cold this week I might have to give in.
I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

Re: Have you guys turned on the heat yet?
I wasn't going to but my husband did 2 nights ago! I was totally trying to hold out.
Yes. We have electric heat though so I can just turn it on room by room as I need it. I usually hold out until the temps are below 60 indoors, but I was just too cold last night when I got home and putting the heat on made me feel so much better.
It's really cold this week. I just got out my sweaters and winter coats this morning when I saw the forecast. Brr.
We have a programable thermostat and it kicked on between Saturday and Sunday. I hadn't been planning to "turn on the heat" but I forgot that we just left the program "going" when it started getting warm since the heat won't kick on when the temperature reads above the set temp.
ETA: The house our apartment is in was built it 1880 and has poor insulation and there's no radiator in the bedroom, so it gets cold pretty quickly.
We have not turned it on as of yet. (In fact, we STILL have the a/c in our windows. My husband has been away on business the past two weeks. He's coming home tonight. Hopefully he'll take them down rather soon.)Hoping to hold out until November at least before we turn the heat on. I don't know how we will do this, but one can wish.
Me too. It is the worst about transitioning to fall.
That and having to use the heat in my car to warm my hands because they end up super dry.
