Elise will be a pumpkin and DH and I will be farmers.

I heard that idea this weekend and I liked it.
Lacie is going to be an LSU cheerleader, pom poms and all.

My kids are going to be a turtle and a monkey. I don't think we are going anywhere so DH and I probably won't dress up.

R already has a costume. She is going to be a butterfly.
DH and I have a grown up party to go to after, so we'll dress up too. I could go matchy or not, depending on what we come up with. He doesn't mind wearing a costume for the most part.
Good idea christen, but our neighbors down the street are already doing that one. Their little girl is going to be pebbles and they are dressing up too.
Cole is going as BamBam! We found a little bat that we are going to make his club and my mom got some animal print fleece that we are going to make his outfit out of. I can't wait to see it all put together! Plus it's awesome b/c he'll "swing" his club and say bambam!

One of the best couples costumes I saw was a 50's house wife and the milk man. It was greatness!
That is greatness! I wish I had seen this last night.
He is going as Plaxico Burress. He's the NFL player who shot himself in the leg after bringing an unregistered handgun into a nightclub. Actually, it was registered, but not in New York. He's currently serving 2 years in prison, which is the only part of the story that's not funny to me. Seems a little harsh, since the gun was registered somewhere else.
I guess I'll be the warden or cop or something. I just wish I could find a costume of this nature that has an actual skirt and not just a ruffle where the bottom should be.
