Um, can we talk about this?
EDIT - originally I posted this picture because it had a snowflake, but it apparently can change itself, and now just shows rain!

Crap, we haven't blown out our irrigation system yet. Left a message for the guy today but haven't heard back yet; hope we can get it taken care of before there are any problems!
Looks like I might be caving on the heat tomorrow.
What does really crappy mean to you? Lots of snow is a good winter to me! A crappy winter to me is lots of rain
Really cold and a lot of snow. I mean, I agree that if it is going to be cold it might as well snow. But now that I have a long drive to work, it is a huge PITA when it snows during the week. Between having to get up early to shovel/clean off the cars, sitting in traffic that is already bad enough now without the weather affecting it, or not being able to get into work at all just isn't fun. All my other coworkers live in town or right by the T. I feel like I am judged when I don't show up due to snow.
In the 2007-2008 winter during that one snow storm that started around noon, I was in traffic for 3 hours...a drive that normally takes 40. My dad was coming from Boston that day and it took him over 5 hours. ETA: I just remembered in that same storm my mom stayed at work late hoping the traffic would dissipate. Her commute that day, which normally takes 15 minutes, took 2 hours.
This is my second day in my long winter coat! Rediculous!
