I just heard the news about Jake as the new bachelor.
So my fellow Bachelor/ette watchers, what are your thoughts?

huh. I remember when the season ended that there were rumors that they had already signed Kipton on for the next season?? I thought they might pick Jake and was surprised to hear this rumor... interesting to find this out now.
I love reality shows and will continue to watch the bachelor/bachelorette regardless of who is picked... hope Jake finds the one
too bad I am not getting out much now, otherwise I might have a chance of seeing them film parts of the next season since Jake is from Dallas 
I already knew he wasn't the one Jillian picked b/c my SIL was visiting us and had seen him at Taco Bell with another female "friend" during the last season....

Lol, we are SO behind here. We JUST finished up the season 'An Officer and a Gentleman' of The Bachelor, last week. The one with Andy Baldwin as the bachelor.
I liked him. He's my 'type'...
And we also had the finale of The Bachelorette with Deanna as the 'prize' last week too. Yes....that's so 2007! Haha.
Um I'm just hoping he doesn't cry more than once this season, if at all!! I mean, really.......I couldn't take it last season. There is no reason to cry over someone you've known a month. Or am I just being really heartless right now?
I have to admit though, I like his clean cut persona. I'll still be addicted but more for the reasons to see how crazy and drama the chicks act!! Aren't they the best?
he's a little boring, but in the beginning of last season, when I didn't really have a sense of his personality yet, I was like, he's such a cutie! Love that clean-cut type.
But isn't he like a Mormon or something? I'm wondering if that means he doesn't believe in premarital sex... the overnight date episodes would be pretty boring then!
Me too! I just loved Jake! He seemed like a sweet guy w/ a genuine, kind heart. I'm looking forward to seeing how this season may be different from the others because he's a different kind of man.
