Rec. your bedding

I don't seem to have any luck w/ bedding. (sheet tear, color changes, too short).

I'm looking for something quality.  Open to all price ranges.

Are any brands better then others, something I should stay away from?

Thanks.

Re: Rec. your bedding

  • I have always had really good luck with JCP. The bedding we got for one of my showers came from there. It is part of the Linden Street line and has held up really well. They usually have a pretty wide variety of styles (and prices) to choose from. The good thing about them is that you can usually find a free coupon code floating around somewhere!

  • We have two sets from Crate & Barrel that we love. The colors have lasted and we have not had any quality issues. We buy our sheets from Macy's from their Style & Co. brand and they are the best sheets we have found!

  • Don't get white. We have a beautiful white lace/macrame set that we both loved. I love the calm serenity of a white bedroom set. Some pieces are from BB&B, some from Macy's, sheets from TJMaxx or something. The sheets suck and are so dirty no matter how much I bleach/clean them.
  • We got our latest set at Target... the sheets were whatever their highest threadcount sheets are and they are wonderful.  We have had them for over a year now and they are still really nice- wash up well.

  • We have bamboo sheets from Target and we love them. I think they're around $50, we got them as a shower present. They're incredibly soft and I think they're supposed to be good for the environment
  • I love my Hotel collection sheets/duvet that we got as wedding presents.  I'm not sure which threadcount the sheets are but they are around $100 at BB&B (queen size but I think that's all sizes) and the duvet was $100 too.  My only complaint with the duvet is that it wrinkles super easily and the last time I tried to iron it after taking it out of the dryer, I spent an hour trying to iron it and it was wrinkled the next day... kinda frustrating.  But its super soft and has held up really well for about 6 months now.

And this is our duvet set -- http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/product.asp?order_num=-1&SKU=112521&RN=26

Sheets are a 500ct something we received as a shower gift.

  • We have one set of the "Hotel Collection" sheets from Bed, Bath, and Beyond and we LOVE them.

Our comforter and pillowshams are by Nautica - I like them a lot (style & comfort)

  • I third the Target rec. They are actually probably softer than our more expensive Pottery Barn sheets.

My friend has some from BB and B that are pure Heaven though. If I could ever find the same ones, I would buy that set in a heartbeat.?

  • Calvin Klein  Madyria is the bedding set that we have.  I love it!

  • I also have hotel collection and LOVE it.  I have it on our bed and our guest bed, and I don't have the wrinkling problem that hawki has. I like it for a more modern bedroom...
