I'm sure this topic has been brough up several times in the past few months. Since we're 'married women now' has anyone else felt a bit of baby on the brain?
We're not ready but that doesn't make my odd desire any smaller. We've only been married 5 months.
Anyone else at the desire stage, but still waiting and if so based on what? Finances? Wanting to connect? etc. I'm just curious

Re: Baby Brain
I do. We are going on month #4 of TTC. We both wanted kids for atleast the last year and were only waited to be married to start trying.
TTC #1 since 08/11 IUI#2 = BFP!
Dh and I traded views after we got married. Before we got married i wanted kids sooner than later and he didnt want any. Now I am leaning towards waiting a few years and he wants to try next year! LOL
I definitely have baby on the brain. But that is in part because my best friend is TTC and I just found out at least two people I work with are expecting. Seems like everywhere I go there are pregnant women! Still, we decided to wait a year to start TTC and I'm fine with that. I like our independence and we didn't live together before getting married so we are enjoying that. I sometimes think that starting to TTC now would be nice but for the most part I want to wait until next year. DH and I have talked about it and we are both in agreement that we want to wait until next year to start.
Happy Friday all!
We desire one, but not exactly now. We want to get as much of our debt paid off as possible. We always said abour 2 years after we got married, but it wouldn't be a tragedy if it happened sooner.
Funny, but I would like for the dogs to be a little older and more calmed down so I don't have 3 children to take care of at once!
We want two kids. Twins run in H's family so we are hoping by some miracle we have twins and get it over with at once.

Stuck in counting limbo.
SAIF always welcome!!

We plan to wait until we've been married at least a year. I would love to have a baby sooner, but we want to pay down some debt (namely cc's), save up some $$, and we want to trade in my car and get an SUV before a baby comes along. With all the pregnant women and babies around me, it sure is hard to stay with the plan to wait!
Congratulations to all of the moms-to-be, can't wait to see your little one when they arrive!
YES! I definitly have Baby Brain! We are waiting for a couple reasons:
1 - We didn't start dating until June 2008 - so we are still "new" to each other...would be nice to have more time for just the two of us.
2 - We have planned to pay off all debt (other than house) by next Spring.
So we are hoping to start next summer. I've just stopped taking BC pills (using condoms now), to let my system get back to normal so hopefully it will be a little easier to get pregnant once we start!!! Hubby thinks first time we "try" I'll get prego. LOL
BFP #1 7/1/2009 ~ EDD 3/9/2010 ~ Ella Adeline (7lbs 4 oz, 19.5 inches) 3/5/2010
BFP #2 7/13/2011 ~ EDD 3/16/2012 ~Aubree Olivia (9lbs 1oz, 21 inches) 3/15/2012
I definitely have baby on the brain but, like most everyone else, we realize that we need to wait a while. I only have a part-time job now and would like a full-time job before we start trying.
Ideally, I would be able to stay at home but we know that isn't going to happen at first because DH wants to go to med school. So if we waited until I could stay home, it would be another 6 years and we are NOT waiting that long.
The current plan is to start trying at our 1 year anniversary.
Yeah, H and I both have BOTB.
We will probably start trying in a few months. We want to figure out if the Air Force will be moving us sometime soon. We're also doing some home renovations that 1) cost a lot of money and 2) might make the house unsafe for a pregnant lady. :-)
