What are some of your favorite cold weather foods? I love making beef stew, chicken pot pie, and roast beef! I also love making a delicious chicken soup.
Re: Fall/Winter Foods
Ditto on the soups, especially chili, and I don't know why but I eat a lot more baked potatoes in the winter, stuffed with (chili), broccoli, cheese, etc. DH loves to make brisket, although if he had his druthers he would do that all the time.
This isn't food, but we have a coffee maker/espresso machine and I love to steam apple cider, and make peppermint lattes in the winter, and DH loves to have egg nog.
Yum!!
I love soups, but only thick creamy soups haha. Grilled cheese and tomato soup becomes one of my regular lunches through the winter. For dinners I love making warm comfort foods - shepherds pie, chicken pot pie, baked mac n cheese, taco pot pie... you get the idea
Chili, homemade pot pie, soups, pot roast, beef stew, lasagna, casseroles, chicken Florentine, chicken parm, a lot of roasted veggies. We NEVER cook anything in the oven during the summer so come cool weather I REALLY start cooking up a storm!
JCam: what is this taco pot pie??? Sounds delish!
