I think dfw alarm came up as the least expensive when I was considering changing.
Forgot to add, ours is through Guardian. They are a local company.

Same here, plus we had the option of wireless monitoring, so we don't have to have a phone line. It was a one-time $89.00 charge for that.

I asked because we are using the company that the previous owners were using. We signed a 6 month contract and I kind of forgot about them. Apparently we are month to month now because I was looking at our credit card statement and they are charging us monthly.
We have Powell and it's $27.05 a month so it looks like we are within average range.
