Whistler!
Yea! Thanks girls for all the helpful input in making the decisions for our stay! We are planning to leave early Friday AM (11/6) from PDX and drive north. I'm thinking that we'll probably hit Vancouver around noonish? Probably have lunch in either Vancouver or Richmond and then head to Whistler.
So about a nestie gtg...would LOVE to meet with the fabulous BC gals! But it all depends on the timing. BIL lives in Seattle so we still need to coordinate a time to meet with them on our way back down on Sunday. So it kinda depends on that...would Friday lunch be an option? I know ppl work so I just wanted to throw the idea out there.
Oh, and I already made reservation for dinner on Sat. nite @ Araxi! I'm so excited to eat there. Maybe the winner of HK will be working? (don't want to be a spoiler in case you haven't seen the finale) Hehehe...

Did you pick a place to stay aleady? I'm sure you did... Araxi sounds great, I haven't been there but a girl I know from high school does PR for the company that runs Araxi and several others, I know she played a part in the HK tapings... pretty cool.
Anyway, have a great time! I work on Friday so I won't be able to do lunch, next time for sure

Ohhh I was going to mention, not sure what your plans are, but if interested and feeling adventurous, the zip-lining is also alot of fun.

We're staying at the Pan Pacific Whistler Village Centre based on the reviews on tripadvisor. Sounds like all the hotels are pretty much in the same area and the pricing at this place wasn't too bad.
I think that we may consider doing the ziplines (but I may be a little scared!). But also, I looked into just doing peak2peak. That seems pretty neat too. All of the pricing seems a little bit steep though, not sure if its just b/c its getting into winter season.
So, now we may just leave a day earlier and hit Vancouver for a full night! That way we don't have to drive straight up to Whistler and feel like we're just driving right back. Woo hoo! I was trying to change it so that we would be in Whistler Thurs/Fri and then Vancouver on Sat night, but comes out that the hotel has a strict no change/no refund policy? Thought that was pretty strange...but it would've made the drive back not seem soo long. But i'm sure that it'll be fine =D
