Sort of F/U to Holiday Polls
Last week I read through all the responses from Rock's holiday polls and felt kind of bummed. Last year we spent Thanksgiving and Christmas here just the two of us, we went home for 4 days in the middle of December and it wasn't the same. We thought we'd be able to this year, but when DH got promoted his schedule was influx as well as the time off he'd requested.
After reading all of your favorite memories, foods, traditions, etc. I decided to be proactive, we're able to go home for Thanksgiving now, and my family is flying out for 5 days before Christmas!
It seems like all of your excitement for the holidays was just the nudge I needed, thanks Ladies!
