Chilly Monday
Good morning, ladies! I had to warm up my car this morning to get rid of the frost. I can't believe it got so cold so quickly!
I had a super productive weekend and I'm exhausted. I started dozing off during the 6th inning of the Phils game last night, but I'm excited to see that they blew the socks off of LA 
I'm seriously so over rude people. They're everywhere. I'm a nice person, but if you're rude to me expect the same treatment. I was in the 7 items or less line at Wegman's (this store and I already have some deep-rooted issues) and I was literally out in the main aisle becuase it was so backed up. I had a pack of water and one other thing in my cart.
The lane next to me opened up and this woman with like 5 kids and 2 gallons of milk in her hands pushes by me to get into the lane before I can even turn my cart around. I must have given her a dirty look becuase she puts the milk down on the conveyor belt and says, "Oh, you don't mind, do you?" I said, "I guess not now..."
If she would have said excuse me all of this could have been resolved civilly. RUDE. Rude and selfish. I understand that you have a million kids running around the store like manics, but this is not Europe and I don't appreciate you touching me and butting in front of me in line. I was so pissed off that I didn't go to the next store on my 'to do' list becuase I was afraid someone like here would be there and I would freak out.
I seriously need a vacation.

It is FREEZING out...I'm so happy it's gonna warm up this week. We pretty much hung in all weekend but we had fun....we made homemade limoncello, then used all the lemons and made fresh lemonade and then made a big pot of escarole soup which I LOVE!!
Izzy: I HATE when people do that....and then they look at you wrong when you give them a cocky look or remark b/c of what they did.
I also fell asleep around the 6th inning last night but I was confident that they were winning when the score hit 8-0. I've been going on and off with not feeling good but today I think it finally stuck. I'm all congested and my head just feels like crap
I've been doing so good with staying clear of all the germs at school but I guess it's hard to escape it with kids sneezing every two seconds.
Good morning! Had a very non-productive weekend because my younger daughter was sick. Now I feel like there is an entire weekend's worth of things to get done around here today.
I hate when people do that in stores! One of the top 3 reasons I refuse to step foot in Walmart. I want to love Wegman's but it is SO crowded no matter what time/day we've been so I've just given up.
I was not expecting that cold this morning... goodness... I had to warm up my car and brush over the windows. Not fun.
I didn't make it to the end of the Phillies game either. I figured it was in the bag when Cliff Lee finished out the 8th inning. He's the man.
I'm on board with you, Izzy. And agreeing with Kristy, I NEVER go to WalMart for that reason. I must that that I've been surprised that within the past few months at Acme, on two separate occasions, people have let me go in front of them b/c they had a million items, and I only had 1 or 2. I was shocked by this kindness. It's a shame that that is so shocking
The H and I shop at walmart for all of our non-perishables. However we go at some really strange times to avoid the madness. We went at 8 AM on Sunday this weekend. You can't beat the prices.
This weekend I used the rest of the apples. I've canned baked apples, apple butter, and TONS of applesauce.
I now have a pie pumpkin in my kitchen that is waiting to be made into pie filling. I googled the type of pumpkin I bought and it is the Gucci of pumpkins apparently.
We also carved pumpkins this weekend. I love carving pumpkins!
This time next week I'll be one day away from flying down to Mexico for my sisters wedding!
Good Morning. We spent the weekend driving in and out of flood water here. I have to get my car undercarriage washed today. Our heater got fixed last night and of course it was too hot for me to sleep, plus I was so excited from the win and going to the game tonight.
I have been looking around for a winter coat at a reasonable price to get me through the rest of this pregnancy, but am not having any luck. All of my regular coats fit fine, until I want to button the one right at my belly button. I guess tonight I will just be layering up for the game.
I love that the Phillies outscored the Eagles yesterday.
i made it to the end of the game, so great! hubs and brother were at the game so when they strolled in, loudly, at 1245 it woke me back up.
weekend was good, went down the shore, the flooding was crazy, never seen antyhing like it. luckily we were safe and dry.
cant wait for the weather to get nicer, leaving to see my parents in Myrtle Beach on Friday!
Didn't do much this weekend. Did some baking and cleaning. Went bowling yesterday. The rain totally killed any plans we had of going pumpkin picking or to the Mart.
I saw this jacket at Old Navy (online). It might not be a super warm winter coat, but it's so affordable. They also had something similar at Target.
Today hit me like a truck. I was on bedrest for three weeks and returned to work today. I do appreciate great co-workers and I love doing what I do with the adorable children I am fortunate enough to teach... however, it was like one thing after another and there was no way I could physically keep up!
