my read shelf:
Good morning. Weekend was pretty good I guess. I was a lean mean cleaning machine. My IL's stopped by on their way home from Palm Springs yesterday and watched Mary so I could clean. It was really nice to have that. My house was pretty bad.
I am looking forward to a costco trip this week. Hopefully today. I am buying a sewing machine.
It was a pretty good weekend. Friday- I caught up on ANTM and The Community. Saturday- hung out with a friend all day. We got lunch and went to Color Me Mine, the library, Fresh N Easy, dinner and a walk. Sunday- church, hung out with the il's, baked and picked dh up from the airport.
Looking forward to going to Disneyland tonight for my friends birthday and this weekend we are going to Oak Glen.
Lucky! What do you plan on making?
Good morning ladies
I so wanted to call in today I need a day at home to myself to clean and just relax this weekend was busy I had a bday party, bridal shower and homecoming all on Saturday then we went to DH's friends house and stayed way to late Sunday I got to hang out with my MOH I miss spending time with her so that was nice :0)
This weekend we have a Knottie babyshower and then a suprise 16th bday party for my friends son :0)
Saturday I had the FIT Riverside Kickball Kick-Off from 9-12:30. C and Sarah met me at the school and we went to Cheesecake Factory at Tyler for lunch (YUM!). I then went to David's Bridal to look at dresses for the Ball. I found 2 I liked and put them on old so C could take a look at them with me on Sunday. I then had to run to the Jr League office in downtown Riverside to drop off some paperwork. I then headed back home (finally!) to 5 loads of laundry that needed to be done but luckily I had stew cooking on the crockpot for dinner. C and I were up until midnight finishing laundry and catching up on Tivo...only about 15 more hours left! Woot!
Sunday, C, Sarah and I went to David's Bridal and picked out my dress for the Jr League Ball: http://www.davidsbridal.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplayView?storeId=10052&catalogId=10051&catentryId=6094952 I got it in red - for $59! What a deal! Now I need to get my shoes pronto so I can get into the seamstress to get it shortened. We then went to CPK for lunch. I then headed home to get ready for the memorial service while C and Sarah spent the rest of the day together.
I could NOT get to sleep last night...guess the memorial was just weighing on my mind - more than I thought it would. I didn't get to sleep until 1:15am and was back up at 4:30am...today is going to be a long day.
Today I just have work. We have a plumber coming by sometime between 1:00 and 5:00 to fix the toilet C tried to fix. I will be going to be when Sarah does tonight, with a couple of Tylenol PM's to assure that I get some serious sleep in.
Hope everyone has a great day!

Saturday- Finshed the food for the shower, loaded up and unloaded at the wine bar. SHower was from 2-5. Then my cousion and her family came back over for dinner again! (they were in town from AZ).
Sunday- I did nothing! First day in months I had nothing to do. I watched 2 movies and scrapbooked.
I am looking forward to taking the train into LA today for work! I love public transporation when I can use it, and this time it actully worked out!
