I have one pair of blue jeans that fit good, and one that fit semi ok, and then one pair that I hate and have kept only for an extreme emergency case. The good fitting blue jeans got left in the washing machine last night, and I didnt have time to dry them, so I resorted to semi ok jeans...um yeah, either they shunk a size in the week they have been hung up in my closet or that +40 has started making its way to my thighs and hips. Im going with the first choice. So I settled for emergency jeans and Im miserable.
Don't get me wrong, I am LOVING this weather, but my feet have been oh so comfortable wearing flip flops in the 80 degree weather. So since its 45 degrees this morning, I go to put on my tennis shoes, um, they no longer fit because my foot has decided to grow into it's own zipcode down there. So I am sporting camo moccasins bec they were literally the only closed toe shoes I had that would fit.
Saturday I was able to put my e-ring on for the first time in about 2 months, and I was so excited. Reception food saturday night=swollen sausage fingers Sunday am..and I still haven't been able to get it off. Im going to consume massive amounts of water today and try some butter this evening to work 'er loose.
Tomorrow, I'm totally planning on asking my dr to write me out of work starting Friday. The desk back pain is sucking major balls. Plus I have an unfinished nursery calling my name loud and clear.
Soooo...... how's everyone else's Monday? delightful and fabulous??
Re: Just another Manic Monday...
What kind of jeans are they? I'll buy them from you if they fit me.
My Monday is eh. I have class tonight which sucks. I am going to try and get my flu shot at the SHC before class. I also have some work to do for a presentation next week and literally would rather stab my eyes out than do it.
On the plus side, I made lasagna last night with homemade noodles. I brought some for lunch today and I'm so excited about how farking good it was that I could pee.
Motherhood Maternity, but I already told a 30 week pg girl I know that she could borrow them bec she grew out of her smalls and is in mediums and didnt want to have to buy more jeans this late in the game. Sorry
Man, I've been feeling really off lately. like the past week. I think I'm coming down with something....Stomach aches like crazy, I am nauseous this morning after eating pancakes ::Shudders:: (stop thinking about pancakes), and I feel like I'm cramping, even though AF ended 10 days ago.
Mom said it could be a stomach bug since the weather changed and usually everyone gets sick then...blah!
Add that to it being Monday, and oh gosh, I just want to go home!

No biggie! I wouldn't want to buy any at 30 weeks either.
And mmm, pancakes...I could sure go for some homemade pancakes about now.
LOL! Sorry to bring on a craving!

Mine went well.
I swear I am feeling this baby move. I keep having these little fluttering things, and always near the same spot. It's happened a few times today.
I am stressing out a little bit b/c the asst. principal is observing/evaluating me on Thursday, so I really have to have a dynamite lesson, and really be on my A-game. He is coming in first hour, and I am never quite all the way awake yet (First hour is from 7:28-8:28). I am sure I will do fine, it has just been a long time since I have been formally observed.
If I didn't love you so much, I'd hate you. I am 20 freaking weeks pregnant and nada in the movement dept. =(
I'm sure you'll feel the movement soon! Everything I've read says people will start feeling it between 16-21 weeks. I don't know for sure if it is the baby, but I have never felt anything like this. It feels like a little fluttery movement, like if someone were to blow "raspberries" on your stomach from the inside. I can't really explain it. I have to be sitting or lying pretty still to feel it.
My mom told me that you'll first start to notice it being really still or lying down b/c when you're walking and moving it basically rocks the baby and keeps it sleeping most of the time. But, when you're holding still it tends to wake up, and move around. She said that's why most women can't sleep when they're late into pregnancy b/c the baby is awake and moving while the mom is attempting to sleep.
