Can we get a GTG going before I leave the area? I leave mid November and I am going to miss being able to meet up with all of you! I do know that I have to come down to Mechanicsburg to get my military ID either next monday (the 26th) or the following monday (the 2nd). I have not made the appointment yet but if one of these dates works better for all of you, I could make my appointment around that date. I was thinking of just dinner out at a restaurant...if anyone has a suggestion. I remember we went to a place across the river from Harrisburg...can't think of the name right now. I remeber it being good. Or maybe we could TJ Rockwell's in E-town...I am going to miss Rhino Fries!
It has been months since we did one and I would love to see all of you before I am gone!
Re: Nestie GTG!
I would love to see you before you leave and catch up with everyone else. If I can, I will try to make the drive. It's been way too long. Plan whatever works for everyone else, but right now the 26th is decent for me.
I hope you don't mind me saying this, but I read your ticker and I'm sorry for what you are going through. I will keep you in my thoughts!
Thanks for the good thoughts! We were really bummed out at first when we got the diagnosis but after wrapping our heads around it...we feel much more positive. Our only bump in the road right now is waiting to move to North Carolina. We did not want to start anything while still up here...other than tests and bloodwork. So right now I am in limbo-land while we wait this part out. We are hoping to get started right away when we get down there.
Hopefully the 26th will work for others.....
I also wanted to say that I'm sorry for what you're going through with TTC. I hope you'll find a wonderful RE in NC and have success on your first cycle with them!
The restaurant we met up at on the river was Dukes. There is also a TJ Rockwells in Mechanicsburg (across from Ashcombes). I'll check back to see which date you all have decided on.
TTC since Jan 07. Dx with PCOS Jan 08
I haven't been to a GTG yet, since I have only been around sine July-ish, but I think all of the restaurants on the river are great, especially Duke's! It's one of my favorite places to go, so I would definitely put a vote in for that. The 26th works for me, depending on what is good for everyone else.
I am looking forward to meeting people in person for the first time!
