Hawaii Nesties
Dear Community,

Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.

Thank you.

Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.

Remember I was wondering whether the person I blocked on FB would still be able to see my posts to mutual friends walls?

I'm wondering no more! My uncles wife had as her status message "G'night all" which was followed by just one person replying "Sleep tight". Uncles wife then replied to THAT person (let's call her Mary) and to the person I blocked (Colleen) but I could only see Mary's post. So, I unblocked Colleen and looked again at the post and saw that Colleen did indeed post an answer to Uncles Wife but that I just couldn't see her initially because I had her blocked.

Soooo, I'm going to assume that if I can't see her, then she can't see meeeeeee!

She went straight back into being blocked after that little experiment though lol....

  • ooh, this is really good info to know! i have always wondered what the blocked person can see or not see. i wonder though...if I upload a photo and tag friend A. Will the blocked person B be able to see on A's wall my tagged photo?
