I saw you mentioned in the other post that you work in healthcare... just out of curiosity what do you do? I am a physical therapist at lancaster rehab hospital, and I always like finding other people who work in healthcare
Also, I hope your finger feels better soon!
Re: **Mrs Comer**
Thanks...about the finger
I'm a nursing assistant at Lancaster Regional. I've actually been through nursing school, just never completely graduated (long story...will share if you'd like). Looking to return to school sooner rather than later to get some sort of degree or certificate...maybe x-ray tech, radiology, etc. not sure yet. It's been 4 years since I've been in school.
We also just moved to Lebanon about 7 months ago from Altoona, so I don't know the area all too well yet. You work at Lancaster rehab? Is that a seperate hospital from regional or general or a part of the hospital? Are there any full time, open positions right now for any rehab assistants, etc. I AM a CNA, and have experience in rehab...worked at Healthsouth for quite a bit of time. Sorry to do a bit of networking, but need to ask. Thanks.......Jessica
Lancaster rehab is kind of a complicated thing, I don't even completely understand...
It is under the umbrella of Lancaster General, but technically not a part of the hospital. It is mainly run by an independent company called Centerre Rehab, which has several other hospitals around the country, that they run in partnership with a local hospital.
Too much for me to think about! Day to day, it feels like a part of LGH, but my paycheck comes from Centerre. Either way, it's a great place. I know they are hiring right now, at least PRN, and I think one full time. There is a list of openings by our time clock, and I know there are definitely some CNA openings. I will check tomorrow and let you know!
