Delayed/Alternative Vaccine Schedule

Hi Everyone!

I've been searching for a good pediatrician in the Cinnaminson/Haddonfield/Cherry Hill area that is open to a delayed/alternative vaccine schedule for my baby (due date in March 2010). Looking for 2/shots per visit, for example. Would love to hear any suggestions!!

Thanks very much for your advice!

Re: Delayed/Alternative Vaccine Schedule

  • I can't give you any specific recommendations in that area, but I found most pediatricians will let you space them out if that is what you want to do.  We go to Cooper Peds in Washington Twp. and they let me do what I wanted with the schedule.  As long as the child gets all the shots they don't mind how you do it.  The only problem you may run into is your insurance company paying for the extra visits.  Check to see if they will do RN visits, so you don't need to pay for an entire visit.  HTH
  • i think kids first in mt laurel will do this.  although it is not high on the recommendation list because one of the nurses there is a huge biatch!

  • I take my son to Laurel Pediatrics in Sewell. I know it's not in the area your are looking for, but they are very understanding of a parents wants and needs and do not force a timeline on vaccines.
