20 person Wedding Reception Restaurant????
My husband and I are already married but would like to have a reception for just our parents and sisters.... we wanted it at THE HEARTH but our connections there isn't around during when we want to have it.
Does anyone recommend any other fantastic restaurant--- we want delicious food... and a nice atmosphere. Any suggestions?

Equus at the The Castle at Tarrytown has a private room they call "The Library" that is perfect for a small party like that. Amazing top rate food and a castle setting that is just gorgeous. One of my friends had a similar wedding there, they got married on the grounds with cocktails outside, and then had their dinner party after.
The Harrison has a fantastic party room. I used to work there and everyone always had a great time. The chef, Amanda Freitag is now on the show The Next Iron Chef on the food network. She's an amazing chef. Totally worth checking out.
If you want to go super high end, Le Bernadin has party rooms.
The Boat House in Central Park.
I have only had brunch there, but it is always delicious. Plus I know people have weddings there all the time. Plus it is a great picture spot!
