I know, I know, it's only October.
The hubs and I are going to MI for Thanksgiving; and MIL has been asking me what "we" want. I'm at a loss, I have no idea. (We'll celebrate Christmas on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, with his family).
Husband has all these "wants", but nothing that I can jump in with (subwoofer for surround sound system, a new chip for his car, racing rims, bla bla bla). I feel like with the wedding, I'm pretty much set. We're just saving our money for a house.
Can anyone give me some ideas? What do you want for the upcoming holidays?
Re: Gift Ideas
My DH would be rather disappointed if we had to get "we" gifts for Christmas. His wish list includes some new golf stuff, a blu-ray player and who knows what else. Mine consists of a DSLR camera (probably not realistic), an enamel-coated cast iron dutch oven, and a few cookbooks.
What about activities you could do together? Tickets to a concert/sporting event? Lift tickets at a ski resort?

honestly...mine is kinda pathetic but much needed. I want gift cards to go clothes shopping! I haven't bought any for the longest time (I'm talking over a year)...as I didn't buy any in the year leading up to the wedding, and then DH lost his job right before the wedding, and now we're still playing catch up. So I want clothes!
I also thought about asking for left overs on the registry.
What about something fun like a spa gift certificate? Who doesn't like a massage?!
