Final Straw for me: Facebook Divorce??!!
Holy crap dad's family is falling APART this week:
Friday, my grandpa gets diagnosed with a very progressed stage of Alzheimer's disease.
Yesterday, my cousin (20) announced she is pregnant from her college friend (apparently friend with benefits) who wants nothing to do with her or the baby. not even a boyfriend, just a friend. at least she is keeping it.
FINAL STRAW:
today my uncle's wife of TWELVE (12!!) years had her facebook status as this:
N***** R****: Busy as usual. The latest...sad news...filing for divorce. I can't take the lies, hiding things, and such from Matt any longer. I don't deserve it. He has left me no choice. Really tried with him. Probably move to San Diego! Hope all is well with everyone else. Will try to keep in touch, but my life is going to get crazier. For u R****'s: Diana's prayers are finally answered - Congrats - you can have him Diana.
(clarification: i edited out my maiden name. Diana is my other aunt--so my uncle's sister).
MY UNCLE FOUND OUT THAT HIS WIFE FILING DIVORCE FROM HER STATUS. And she refuses to take it down. can you imagine anything worse?
Ugh. i think my family has hit an all time low. Jesus.

apparently. I just spoke with him and he said they had been mentioning how unhappy their marriage had gotten the past two days, but nothing was definite or firmly discussed.
Funniest/saddest/weirdest part: i asked him about what she claims he had been lying/hiding:
apparently someone chipped a ceramic reindeer antler on some christmas decoration in their house 5 YEARS ago. She asked him about it and he said he had no idea how it got chipped--they have 2 dogs and a cat so maybe from one of them but he didn't chip it. She was convinced he had brought a girl in the house who chipped the reindeer....
...and still brings it up 5 years later as "proof" that he is lying/cheating/hiding stuff from him....
talk about living in the past! he said that's when he knew she was crazy...
As harsh as it may sound, he's probably better off without her and her chipped reindeer. It sucks that he had to find out that way though.
That's completely ridiculous... I think its crap that 16yo's break up on FB, how do you end a marriage that way?
DH's cousin sent out a mass FB message to pretty much everyone she knows explaining her divorce (after less than 2 years) and immediately started having wall chats with her new bf which included all kinds of "love you babe" messages so that her husband (who was still living in her apartment) would see them. People need to grow up.

This! I have seen a lot of FB things lately posted that really shouldn't be posted on a freaking internet community! I don't know why people feel the need to share certain info with all of their FB friends. Hope everything gets better with your fam!!
