I am the opposite of creative and am starting to stress about what I'm going to be for halloween this year! THis is actually the first year since I've been out of college that I will have the night off of work and can go to a party!
What are you dressing up as or what have you done in the past? Any ideas are welcome!!

Re: halloween costumes?
This year we didn't do anything creative - he's a cowboy, I'm an Indian. We just didn't have the time or desire to come up with anything better, lol.
In the past we've been: Ghostbusters; I was a circus ringmaster and he was a bearded lady; and I was a baseball player and he was an umpire.
This year I'm going to be the "crazy cat lady" from The Simpsons--complete with a duffel bag full of stuffed cats I can throw at people. (background: DH and I have multiple cats and I volunteer at a cat shelter, so I'm already being called the "crazy cat lady" as a joke among friends).
DH will probably be a doctor (white lab coat, stethescope, etc.)--he says we're "too old" to dress up, so he's looking for something simple.
Other ideas from friends:
Matador and Bull
Princess Buttercup & the Dread Pirate Roberts (from The Princess Bride)
Wednesday Adams & Uncle Fester
I found a lot of ideas this year thinking about favorite TV shows/movies (hence the crazy cat lady). If I weren't doing my costume, DH and I might have gone as Peter & Lois from Family Guy, and carried a doll dressed up as Stewie (this seemed too plain to me, though, since it's just picking out the right-colored clothes, even though we could pull it off--DH is a big guy and I have red hair).
The Fluffy Cat says... "Boxes are the best toys ever invented!"
Walmart has cheap costumes online - you can have them shipped to pick up at the store, and you won't have to pay shipping.
I try to be creative...once I went as a cowgirl and my date was the naked cowboy, once I was a greek goddess and brought grapes with me to feed to others (that was fun), last year my hubby and I went as Popeye and Olive Oil...I was Popeye and he was my woman, it really turned out great!
DH and I usually do something together. We went as Sarah and Todd Palin last year. (My hair had bangs at the time and with a suit and glasses I looked just like her.) The year before we went a Mr. and Mrs. Smith. This was pretty easy too. DH wore white boxers and a white T. I wore one of his older white button downs, we "bloodied" and dirtied ourselves up, bought some fake guns and garden boots and there you have it.
This year DH is insisting on going as Waldo. (Like in Where's Waldo?) He wants to randomly jump into people's pictures so they can hunt for him later. I'll probably go as Audrey Hepburn from Breakfast at Tiffany's. Black dress and gloves, up do, pearls, diamonds and a cigarette holder. HTH.
I cannot reveal my costume on here because someone may be lurking that will be at the party I'm attending. Nobody tells what they are being.
Anyway, last year we were Mario and Luigi. I have been a flasher, Dh was a vampire, we were pirates one year, Daisy Duke and Uncle Jesse, Hans and Frans from SNL. One year my sister was gum on a shoe. It was pretty funny actually; she wore a pink sweatsuit and the hood had a shoe glued to it.
