Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. I totally fussed at someone else's kid yesterday, and it felt good!
so, i go to pick up the kids from daycare. Jonathan is 8 and the schooler kids all play together after they do homework. well, they range from ages 5 to 10 or 11. i get there and the owner tells me that another kid "accidentally" hit Jonathan in the face with a basketball....2 feet away from him....she said it was not on purpose, JOnathan said it was...another teacher said if it was G. then it was totally on purpose b/c he is a mean kid. and a nother kid came to me and said that G. did it on purpose! that little bastard!! i was so pissed, well, as i am going down the hall, G. is in front of me. so we get to the front desk and i said in my mean momma voice "did you hit jonathan in the face on purpose?? that is unacceptable!!! you dont do that! how would you like for someone to hit you in the face??" all the while, his mom is standing at the desk!! i didnt know it! whoops!! haha!! she fussed him too! i was so fired up!
it just made me mad cuz he asked jonathan for the basketball, and then immediately threw it in jonathans face, right smack in the nose. he was a little puffy faced for a while.

I'm surprised they let the other teacher tell you which child it was. It's against state regulations for them to disclose that information.

you would be surprised at the things info i have gotten from daycare workers. not just this daycare but our last one too. like, when Lacie was smaller and kept getting bit by another kid, i always had one of them tel me who it was. it never bothered me, and i told them that if Lacie ever bit, that it was ok to tell the parent and to make sure that they got an apology from me. i have become good friends with the caretakers.
